Staff Accountant, Tax Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Prepare financial statements along with their supporting schedules.

• Record and assess adjusting journal entries.

• Assist in the preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns.

• Conduct account reconciliations and analyze financial data.

• Aid in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Work closely with the U.S.-based team for review and approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proficient understanding of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation principles.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setting.

• Ability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
