This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist with the daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting responsibilities for the foreign acquisition, ensuring precision and punctuality.
• Aid in the month-end closing process, which includes reviewing account reconciliations, posting adjusting journal entries, consolidating into the Hims & Hers’ NetSuite instance, and fulfilling assigned duties accurately and on time.
• Contribute to team deliverables with meticulous attention to detail, identifying and rectifying errors while collaborating with the Manager of International Accounting to refine processes that enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in the evaluation of intercompany transactions and eliminations among subsidiaries.
• When necessary, support the Australian-based accounting team in preparing statutory financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
• Aid in the documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Support designated Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 key controls, ensuring execution without deficiencies.
• Assist in due diligence and integration efforts for new market launches and expansions.
• Promote process improvements and system upgrades to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and precise delivery of requests and projects.
• Act as a primary contact for relevant accounting issues, ensuring effective communication and escalation of problems as necessary.
• Over 2 years of accounting experience; experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BA or BS).
• Strongly preferred to be on the CPA track.
• Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
• Experience in supporting month-end close processes and preparing account reconciliations.
• Proficient in Excel and knowledgeable about ERP systems (experience with NetSuite is advantageous).
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
