This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and manage external financial statements, regulatory submissions, lender reports, and operational documentation.
• Utilize technical accounting expertise and ensure audit-ready documentation is maintained.
• Oversee the coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting tasks among Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Validate data sources and spearhead the execution of reporting activities.
• Evaluate key reporting metrics in collaboration with FP&A and operational leaders.
• Discuss growth drivers and convert financial outcomes into reports suitable for leadership review.
• Assist in month-end closing, quarterly external financial disclosures, annual financial statement audits, Medicare/Medicaid audits, and PACE-specific initiatives.
• Enhance automation, reporting efficiency, system integrations, internal controls, documentation, and standardized reporting processes.
• Acquire knowledge of the healthcare and PACE business model, including Medicare, Medicaid, Part D, and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring stakeholders are held accountable for reporting deadlines and deliverables.
• At least three (3) years of experience in general or public accounting, or a combination of both; experience with a Big 4 firm is preferred.
• Preferred background in regulatory reporting.
• Strong proficiency in applying technical accounting skills.
• In-depth technical knowledge with the capability to implement appropriate accounting practices across various reporting domains.
• Ability to operate independently in uncertain environments.
• Capability to establish projects and reporting processes from the ground up.
• Quick to understand the business context, identify key stakeholders and data sources, and produce clear, well-supported reporting results.
• Preferred experience in the healthcare sector, including Medicare, Medicaid, or other regulated healthcare settings.
• Proof of vaccination or a vaccine declination form is required prior to employment.
• Must adhere to required infection control and PPE standards as well as vaccination mandates.
