This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manages the complete accounting cycle associated with the creation of financial statements; this includes generating and recording journal entries, evaluating financial outcomes, and drafting financial narratives. Ensures that all deadlines are adhered to and that all deliverables are produced to a high standard.
• Collaborates with operational teams to guarantee effective processing of contracts, ensuring appropriate revenue recognition.
• Conducts balance sheet account reconciliations pertinent to the assigned responsibilities. Ensures all schedules are finalized promptly and efficiently. Confirms that all reconciling items are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Prepares and reviews all statutory tax filings and payments to verify their accuracy and punctuality.
• Possesses experience with multi-entity, multi-currency, intercompany transactions, as well as foreign exchange and translation.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues in Accounting and other departments to implement changes and complete special projects that align with company-wide objectives.
• Identifies areas for enhancement by assessing current processes for possibilities of automation, consolidation, or reengineering.

• Completes all mandatory Company training and compliance courses as assigned.
• Follows Company standards and maintains adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capable of interpreting and developing policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Skilled in time management with the ability to organize and handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates initiative and can effectively adapt to changes.
• Able to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Proficient in interpreting and creating spreadsheets.
