Staff Accountant, CPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

• Direct the month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and precise preparation of financial statements.

• Manage billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense reporting with high levels of accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain reconciliations for all critical accounts, ensuring financial integrity across international subsidiaries.

• Assist in revenue recognition and cost allocation related to infrastructure operations, datacenter leases, and hardware expenditures.

• Optimize accounting workflows and implement automation to enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal controls while collaborating with tax and audit partners as required.

• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to synchronize financial processes with operational conditions.

• Keep organized and comprehensive documentation, and aid in the preparation of management reports and audit support schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).

• Over 5 years of pertinent accounting experience, ideally in fast-paced or growing organizations.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems).

• Advanced skills in Excel and a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with multi-entity or international accounting is advantageous.

• Highly organized, able to meet deadlines, and competent in working independently within a distributed team setting.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and hands-on approach.
