Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee client invoicing and the processing of cash receipts

• Accurately manage payroll and ensure timely processing

• Handle payments for contractors

• Process vendor invoices and ensure prompt payments

• Review and manage employee expenses and reimbursements

• Maintain and reconcile records using QuickBooks Online

• Assist with month-end reviews and reporting

• Update and maintain financial forecasts

• Guarantee the accuracy of financial data across all financial systems

• Manage financial systems and integrations to enhance efficiency, including the Finance Drive as the main repository for contracts and financial documents

• Develop and sustain financial forecasts, reporting, and analysis within Google Sheets

• Ensure all financial records are stored properly, organized, and ready for audits

• Continuously enhance internal financial processes and documentation standards

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)

• Recent graduates with relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or internships are encouraged to apply

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online

• Experience with Google Sheets and creating spreadsheets for reporting or analysis

• Good understanding of payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Highly organized and self-motivated in a remote setting

• Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership

• Eager to learn quickly and take on more responsibilities

• Experience in an advertising, agency, or professional services environment is a plus
