This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and provide supporting analysis for cash, prepaid expenses, revenue recognition, and accruals.
• Review accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and maintain regular financial reports for management and business partners.
• Enhance data quality, improve collection processes, and refine report design.
• Offer guidance and interpretation regarding accounting policies.
• Assist in supporting internal controls and the implementation of new policies and procedures.
• Keep detailed accounting documentation to meet legal, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Provide support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, audits, financial reporting, special projects, and ad hoc analysis.
• Research and analyze accounting issues.
• Engage in the development of financial models, data evaluation, results analysis, and provide recommendations.
• Research, design, and document financial procedures and systems.
• Act as a liaison to business partners and facilitate issue resolution.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with business partners.
• Oversee the work of Junior Accountants when necessary.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• More than 2 years of experience in reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, depreciation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the preparation of managerial and financial reports.
• At least 2 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
• A strong desire to act as a trusted financial partner delivering high-quality financial reporting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to serve as a liaison to business partners and resolve issues effectively.
• High initiative to identify and rectify errors and enhance processes.
• Keen attention to detail, with a passion for continuous improvement and learning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels within the company.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
