Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders as a strategic and supportive partner.

• Manage the daily accounts payable process, which includes coding and reconciling company credit card transactions, as well as handling routine month-end journal entries and reconciliations from start to finish.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

• Enhance team growth by sharing expertise and refining our internal processes.

• Ensure the maintenance of organized, audit-ready documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or 1–3 years of equivalent accounting experience, preferably including accounts payable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.

• CPA license or currently studying for the CPA Exam is preferred.

• Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles.

• Exceptional technical skills with various software platforms.

• Proficient in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.

• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets (including formulas, sorting/filtering, and basic pivot tables).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; tech-savvy and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with various software.

• Highly driven to succeed in a fast-paced setting and possess a genuine enthusiasm for learning and process improvement.
