This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Provide assistance to team members and clients regarding inquiries related to fees.
• Log, reconcile, and process fee submissions.
• Support the Monthly and Quarterly Billing processes as well as manage Account Receivables.
• Prepare journal entries, code vendor invoices, analyze accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books.
• Reconcile bank statements and confirm deposits.
• Address questions and resolve issues while preparing monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee the collection of accounts receivable from sponsors and/or institutions, reconciling customer accounts.
• Maintain client contracts along with relevant supporting documentation.
• Update records as required.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• A minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
• Familiarity with automated financial accounting reporting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
• Capability to solve complex problems and deliver effective solutions.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as procedural manuals and technical guidelines.
• Competence in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication skills to interact with employees across the organization.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-life scenarios.
• Proficiency in addressing practical problems and managing a variety of concrete variables.
