This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Support team members and clients with inquiries related to fees.
• Track, reconcile, and process fee submissions.
• Assist in the Monthly and Quarterly Billing process as well as Account Receivables.
• Prepare journal entries, code vendor invoices, conduct account analysis and reconciliation, close books, and establish new accounts monthly.
• Reconcile bank statements, verify deposits, address inquiries and issues, and prepare general ledger reconciliations on a monthly basis.
• Oversee accounts receivables collection from sponsors or institutions and reconcile customer accounts.
• Maintain client contracts along with relevant supporting materials, updating records as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with automated financial accounting reporting systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, financial software, and database applications.
• Capability to resolve complex issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to work independently and adhere to consistent deadlines.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as procedure manuals and technical guidelines.
• Competence in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues across the firm as required.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.
• Capability to resolve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.
• Ability to develop industry-specific system skills as provided through internal training, in a timely manner as determined by the daily valuation manager.
