Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Maintain precise and up-to-date bookkeeping across all accounts.

• Ensure that transactions are consistently and accurately categorized in QuickBooks.

• Conduct regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and payment platforms.

• Monitor data integrity and promptly resolve any discrepancies.

• Continuously track and manage cash flow.

• Maintain clear visibility into incoming and outgoing funds.

• Assist leadership with cash flow forecasts and insights on liquidity.

• Identify potential cash flow risks or irregularities early on.

• Review, document, and enhance internal financial workflows.

• Optimize expense tracking, billing processes, and internal controls.

• Ensure that financial processes are efficient, scalable, and well-documented.

• Propose and implement system improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Prepare clear and structured financial reports for internal use.

• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts through organized financial data.

• Collaborate closely with external CPAs during tax filings, audits, and reviews.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role for a U.S. company (required).

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (required).

• Proven track record in detailed categorization and financial cleanup (required).

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
