This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of essential elements within the monthly closing cycle.
• Prepare and record journal entries for accruals, prepaids, recurring adjustments, and the recognition of revenue and expenses.
• Keep close-cycle workpapers and supporting schedules organized and updated.
• Accurately and punctually complete recurring closing tasks.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, prepare prepaid schedules, perform accrual reconciliations, and carry out account analyses.
• Reconcile cash, fees, reserves, and net payout activities across various platforms, vendors, and channel statements.
• Facilitate data flows between A2X and the general ledger.
• Detect anomalies, missing entries, and inconsistencies in coding.
• Execute trend, variance, and account-level analyses.
• Convert transactional data into financial narratives for leadership review.
• Uphold discipline in the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Enhance close-cycle processes, documentation, workpapers, and reconciliation workflows.
• Collaborate on accounting initiatives that support channel expansion and business growth.
• Over 4 years of professional accounting experience with significant involvement in monthly close cycles.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient in journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and workpaper preparation.
• Strong discipline in managing the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Exceptional attention to detail while working efficiently and accurately.
• Strong analytical skills in reconciliation accuracy, trend validation, and ensuring financial integrity.
• Capable of transforming raw transactional data into reliable financial information.
• Experienced in enhancing close-cycle confidence through rigorous documentation and account-level precision.
• Excellent skills in cross-functional partnerships.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to consistently operate within U.S. business hours and time zones.
• Access to a computer, reliable internet connection, and a distraction-free work environment.
• Willingness to accommodate limited travel requirements, up to 10%.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in DTC, eCommerce, Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or similar high-settlement environments.
• Familiarity with Fulfill, QuickBooks Online, or comparable accounting systems is a plus.
