Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, you will manage corporate accounting tasks, which include general ledger reconciliations, account reconciliations, as well as billing and accounts payable processes.

• Accounting functions will guarantee precise and prompt financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP standards.

• You will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other essential reporting documents.

• Actively oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.

• Provide assistance to an external accounting firm for the preparation and submission of all tax returns.

• Collaborate with the CFO to formally develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

• Engage actively in supporting annual audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management roles with relevant expertise.

• Experience in SaaS is required.

• Proficiency in ERP systems (with a strong preference for NetSuite).

• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles for a SaaS organization.

• Well-versed in GAAP, especially regarding technology-related requirements, and possess a strong background in handling non-routine and complex transactions.
