This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Prepare and record general ledger entries in accordance with accounting policies and reporting standards.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of general ledger and balance sheet accounts for assigned entities.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities in alignment with global reporting schedules.
• Manage accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments at the end of the reporting period.
• Support VAT, indirect tax, and statutory compliance efforts throughout the region.
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and account balances.
• Facilitate internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across various functions.
• Execute Record-to-Report tasks including journal processing, ledger management, and verification of financial data.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through regular account reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist in statutory and management reporting processes for designated entities in the region.
• Monitor and promptly address open balance sheet items.
• Collaborate with Shared Service teams to ensure uniform accounting practices and robust financial governance.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, reporting efficiency, and finance standardization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP standards.
• Experience in multinational or Shared Service environments.
• Proficient in SAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience in service-based industries, travel, or events sectors is a plus.
