Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the preparation of all corporate payroll tax submissions and 401k contributions.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for all banking accounts.

• Prepares or oversees the creation of reports that summarize business activities and the financial status across all areas.

• Generate W-2s and 1099s for internal staff.

• Handle the preparation and disbursement of commissions for Field Service Representatives.

• Prepare reconciliations for general ledger accounts in conjunction with the monthly preparation of internal financial statements.

• Support the annual audits for financial statements and 401k.

• Assist with all state and federal audits as required.

• Undertake projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Great Plains.

• Capable of overseeing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills for data assessment.

• Near acuity for verifying and reproducing figures.
