This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Accountable for the precise and timely management of accounting, reporting, and oversight of dealer-related receivable balances and settlement activities.
• Oversee the processes for premium recapture and ancillary products by establishing and implementing effective financial controls.
• Propel the automation and scalability of accounting operations.
• Supervise and reconcile dealer receivable accounts.
• Collaborate with the sales team to establish appropriate terms for dealer participation recapture.
• Act as the primary accounting liaison for cross-functional initiatives that affect financial reporting.
• Create and conduct monthly variance analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to state regulations concerning customer refunds for ancillary products.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with dealer payments.
• Develop and implement solutions aimed at enhancing processes with a focus on compliance.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience is required.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in accounting is required.
• Preferably, 2 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal controls.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large data sets are preferred.
