Accountant, CPA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage all financial operations and controls within the US.

• Prepare and assess monthly management accounts in accordance with US GAAP.

• Take ownership of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.

• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger along with supporting schedules.

• Coordinate compliance with US tax regulations, including sales tax and filings.

• Collaborate with US CPAs, tax consultants, and auditors.

• Guarantee timely and precise statutory and regulatory reporting.

• Develop annual budgets along with rolling forecasts.

• Monitor performance against budget and analyze variances.

• Provide valuable financial analysis to aid in decision-making.

• Manage and enhance QuickBooks Online and finance workflows.

• Create scalable finance processes and internal controls.

• Enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant supporting US entities.

• CPA qualification is mandatory.

• Availability from 9 AM to 5 PM East Coast Time (USA).

• Familiarity with US sales tax (multi-state experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.

• Experience in managing finance functions using QuickBooks.

• Excellent analytical abilities and effective stakeholder communication skills.

• Proven experience in people management, team leadership, and overseeing finance/accounting operations.
