Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee essential closing processes for designated areas such as cash automation, accounts payable, accruals, and prepaid expenses

• Identify and spearhead automation projects for closing workflows utilizing ERP functionalities

• Collaborate across departments to deliver data-driven insights

• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to ensure compliance with federal regulations and state and local tax requirements

• Maintain and enhance SOX-lite internal controls and associated documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP

• Proficiency and experience with AI tools

• Practical experience with NetSuite (preferred) and expert-level proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (required)

• Eagerness to learn

• Demonstrated ability to develop and enhance processes from the ground up

• Capability to manage problems from start to finish

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
