Staff Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the preparation of all corporate payroll tax filings and 401k contributions.

• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for all financial accounts.

• Generate or supervise the creation of reports that summarize business activities and the overall financial status across all areas.

• Prepare W-2s and 1099s for internal staff.

• Manage the preparation and disbursement of commissions for Field Service Representatives.

• Conduct reconciliations for general ledger accounts in conjunction with the monthly preparation of internal financial statements.

• Provide assistance during annual financial statement and 401k audits.

• Support all state and federal audit processes.

• Undertake projects as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• CPA designation is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Great Plains.

• Capable of overseeing and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate data.

• Near acuity in verifying and reproducing numerical figures.
