This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the infrastructure. Construct, maintain, and scale the systems that our product operates on, prioritizing reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Evaluate non-functional aspects. Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for availability, latency, throughput, and scalability. Make system performance transparent and measurable for the entire team.
• Pursue relentless automation. Identify and eliminate manual tasks. Substitute operational work with code, infrastructure-as-code, and self-healing systems.
• Create a streamlined delivery process. Design, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable engineers to deploy safely and frequently with rapid feedback.
• Collaborate across teams. Work closely with software engineers and QA to integrate reliability and quality from the start through testing strategies, deployment practices, and shared ownership of production.
• Leverage AI in operations. Utilize AI/AIOps to automate remediation, highlight anomalies, decrease alert noise, and enhance the quality of monitoring, reporting, and on-call processes.
• Lead incident management. Facilitate blameless postmortems and transform incidents into systemic improvements.
• Establish benchmarks. Define reliability and operational best practices, and guide engineers throughout the team to elevate standards.
• Over 5 years of experience in an SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering position, with a proven history of end-to-end system ownership.
• Profound understanding of reliability engineering principles: SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and minimizing toil.
• Practical experience in designing, modernizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong skills in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / Pulumi / CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes / Docker).
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language for automation (Python / Go / Bash).
• In-depth experience with observability: metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting (NewRelic, Prometheus / Grafana / Datadog / OpenTelemetry).
• Practical experience applying AI/AIOps for automation, measurement, reporting, and alerting, including anomaly detection, intelligent alerting, noise reduction, or automated remediation.
• A collaborative mindset, comfortable working alongside engineers and QA to achieve shared reliability objectives.
• Proven technical leadership—mentoring engineers, driving cross-team initiatives, and influencing engineering methodologies.
• Remote Office – Option to work remotely or in a hybrid model.
