SRE Team Lead – GameDev

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Mentor, develop, and provide technical support to the DevOps/SRE team.

• Build and enhance DevOps and SRE practices within the team.

• Participate in shaping the technical strategy of the team and fostering an engineering culture.

• Develop, maintain, and strategically improve the gaming platform.

• Enhance, scale, and support monitoring and observability systems.

• Organize and engage in paid On-Call shifts, improving incident management processes.

• Automate infrastructure and routine processes.

• Collaborate with development teams on reliability, scalability, and improving change delivery and CI/CD processes.

• Mentor engineers and educate them on Kubernetes-native approaches.

• Participate in architectural decision-making and the development of cloud infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles.

• Experience in a Team Lead role or readiness to take responsibility for the technical direction.

• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration (4+ years).

• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (3+ years).

• Experience with the Oracle Cloud platform.

• Experience in building and maintaining high availability infrastructure.

• Experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL.

• Familiarity with the observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, exporters, and alerting systems.

• Proficient in automation and scripting in Python and Bash.

• Understanding of CI/CD principles, GitOps, and platform engineering.

• Systematic thinking and the ability to not only resolve issues but also identify their root causes.

• Proactive in process improvement, automation, and reliability engineering.

• Strong communication skills and experience interacting with engineering teams.
