SRE Specialist I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance and promote best practices as a key technical resource for the team, enhancing their growth and advocating for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.

• Ensure the company's systems and infrastructure are available, scalable, performant, and secure.

• Maintain a consistent, dependable, and secure environment for all users and services.

• Promote a DevOps culture by encouraging collaboration among development, infrastructure, and information security teams.

• Implement and oversee tools and processes for the automation, monitoring, and orchestration of infrastructure and applications.

• Manage incident response and foster continuous improvement by analyzing incidents, identifying root causes, and suggesting preventive measures to mitigate future occurrences.

• Execute additional responsibilities associated with the role, contributing to the efficiency and ongoing enhancement of services and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform (preferred), along with familiarity with Pulumi or CloudFormation.

• Strong experience and expertise with APIGEE.

• Familiarity with observability tools, preferably Datadog, as well as knowledge of Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ChaosSearch.

• Programming skills in Python or Golang for cloud automation.

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.

• Senior-level expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with AWS or Azure also acceptable.

• In-depth knowledge of managed Kubernetes, especially GKE (preferred), with hands-on experience in EKS or AKS.

• Possession of certifications in Cloud, DevOps, or Kubernetes is a plus.

• Experience in cost optimization and governance in multicloud environments.
