SRE, Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Automation of deployment and server setup, along with the development of related tools.

• Monitoring of applications, middleware, and cloud services, as well as performance tuning.

• Detection of failures and capacity planning, among other tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with various cloud services such as AWS and GCP.

• Experience or interest in managing Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Programming skills necessary for enhancing application and middleware functionality, as well as bug fixing to improve system performance and reliability.

• Basic knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP.

• Experience in establishing and managing monitoring environments for failure detection and capacity planning.

• Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL.

• Proven experience as a tech lead (lead engineer) to guide the team from a technical perspective.

• Specialist experience as an Individual Contributor.

• Ability to work remotely.
