This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

• Oversee and sustain essential infrastructure systems with a strong expertise in Linux (preferably Debian/Ubuntu)

• Engage directly with hardware components: BIOS, IPMI, RAID configurations, and diagnostics at the hardware level

• Design and uphold scalable network architectures utilizing VLANs, L2/L3 routing, and VPNs

• Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Ansible, as well as Bash/Python scripting

• Establish and oversee observability platforms, including Prometheus/Grafana and ELK/Graylog

• Develop tools for server discovery, configuration auto-generation, and automated operating system deployments

• Integrate and/or create internal APIs to monitor compute and GPU resource distribution

• Implement and maintain virtualization and orchestration frameworks such as OpenStack and Proxmox VE

• Support containerized workloads and efficiently isolate services

• Advanced-level Linux administration skills (ideally with Debian/Ubuntu)

• In-depth experience with MAAS / Ironic / bare-metal automation (essential)

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts: VLANs, routing, and VPNs

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible), along with scripting in Bash/Python and GitOps

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/Graylog

• Experience with bespoke deployment automation (PXE, Preseed, MAAS/Ironic)

• Understanding of resource tracking, API integrations, and dashboard creation

• Demonstrable expertise with OpenStack, Proxmox, VMware, and container orchestration technologies
