Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the deployment of production releases and management activities for a cloud-based platform utilizing Salesforce, AWS services, and API-driven integrations.

• Accountable for the coordination and execution of application and infrastructure releases, as well as the upkeep of CI/CD pipelines.

• Oversee environment promotions, deployment automation, and the governance of releases.

• Ensure system stability by minimizing deployment risks and maintaining consistency across integrated platforms.

• Automate the processes of build, deployment, and environment provisioning.

• Facilitate Salesforce deployments, including metadata and configuration changes, using automated pipeline tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, or deployment management.

• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.

• Experience in supporting Salesforce deployments, including metadata, environments, or pipeline tools.

• Familiarity with AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, and cloud-based environments.

• Experience in supporting API-based integration platforms.

• Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience navigating change management and release governance processes.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
