This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and guide a worldwide team of DevOps engineers specializing in AI platforms.
• Facilitate collaboration with US-based technical leadership across various time zones.
• Take charge of sprint planning, delivery rhythm, and progress tracking.
• Guarantee technical excellence through code evaluations, architectural discussions, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Partner with the Principal Architect and AI/ML Engineering Lead to shape technical strategy.
• Eliminate obstacles, manage dependencies across teams, and promote effective collaboration.
• Recruit, develop, and inspire top-tier talent by cultivating an innovative, fast-paced, and continuously improving culture.
• Outline the long-term vision and steer release planning and execution.
• At least 4 years of experience managing Agile teams as an Engineering Manager, along with over 10 years in engineering roles.
• Experience in developing enterprise AI platform infrastructure, both in leadership and contributor capacities.
• Capability to support and guide individuals as well as teams.
• Strong functional knowledge of enterprise SaaS solutions.
• Proven experience in constructing enterprise-grade, scalable, cost-effective, and secure AI/ML platforms with an emphasis on resilience, automation, and observability.
• Management of deployment and lifecycle for LLM & Embedding Models (OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker) and Vector Databases such as LanceDB.
• Familiarity with assessing new products and technologies like RAG, MCP servers, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, LangChain, etc.
• Proficient in managing AWS core & AI/GenAI services (S3, IAM, EKS, Bedrock, etc.), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• A leader who excels in dynamic environments, inspires teams, and embraces innovation.
• Experience overseeing distributed teams across time zones, preferably with coordination between the US and India.
• Excellent communication skills across different geographical locations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
