This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, uphold, and continually enhance our deployment Golden Path to ensure a swift, reliable, and secure transition from merged code to production.
• Develop and scale CI/CD systems that emphasize deterministic builds, high cache efficiency, quick feedback cycles, and enhanced developer productivity.
• Implement and manage automated security measures, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and CVE detection, ensuring that every release inherently meets our security standards.
• Oversee production environments and deployment workflows using strategies like canary releases, blue/green deployments, progressive delivery, and automated rollbacks.
• Take ownership of and advance our Kubernetes platform, Helm charts, and infrastructure configuration, ensuring consistency, reliability, and repeatability across all environments.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to eliminate delivery bottlenecks, create reusable platform patterns, and empower squads to deploy independently with confidence.
• Discover opportunities to minimize operational toil, enhance deployment safety, and boost platform resilience through automation and self-service tools.
• Over 4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related software engineering positions.
• Proven track record of operating and scaling production systems with a strong emphasis on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated success in building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines within modern cloud-native environments.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Helm in production settings.
• Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code principles and configuration management practices.
• Familiarity with contemporary deployment and GitOps tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD, or similar platforms.
• Practical experience integrating security tools into delivery pipelines, including vulnerability, dependency, and application security scanning.
• Robust knowledge of Linux systems, networking basics, containers, and distributed systems.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a remote-first setting.
• Ability to distill complex infrastructure and platform needs into straightforward, scalable solutions for engineering teams.
• Collaborative, low-ego attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable influencing engineering practices across teams through collaboration, mentorship, and technical leadership.
• Experience managing multi-cluster Kubernetes environments (Nice to Have).
• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools (Nice to Have).
• Familiarity with platform engineering concepts, internal developer platforms, and self-service infrastructure (Nice to Have).
