Senior Azure DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with software architects and development teams to outline infrastructure needs and design comprehensive platform solutions.

• Spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines to enhance software development, testing, and deployment workflows.

• Execute Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to assess new tools, technologies, and methodologies, evaluating their potential influence on the platform and operations.

• Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of systems, ensuring high availability in both production and development environments.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate issues across infrastructure, deployments, and applications, implementing robust solutions to bolster system stability.

• Incorporate security best practices into architecture and deployment processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Guide team members on advanced DevOps practices and play a role in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English for everyday communication with our client (please submit your resume in English).

• Extensive background as a DevOps Engineer concentrating on platform architecture and the development of scalable infrastructure solutions.

• Expertise in building and fine-tuning CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, focusing on automation and efficiency.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Python, Bash, or similar), with the ability to develop scalable solutions and optimize operations.

• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), including deployments in production environments.

• Profound understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with expertise in infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Experience in conducting PoCs and evaluating new tools and technologies to improve infrastructure and operations.

• Security-oriented mindset with a proven history of implementing best practices for securing both cloud-based and on-premise environments.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate efficiently across teams.
