SRE Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee SRE teams;

• Ensure technical excellence among team members;

• Develop and sustain monitoring solutions utilizing Prometheus, Victoria-Metrics, and Grafana to proactively identify and resolve performance challenges;

• Manage logging infrastructure through Fluent, Fluent-bit, ElasticSearch, and Kibana to guarantee efficient log collection, analysis, and visualization;

• Set up and oversee alerting systems like AlertManager and Opsgenie to promptly address critical incidents and reduce downtime;

• Oversee the use of AWS Cloud services and design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure;

• Possess expertise in AWS services including EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM to ensure the optimal performance and security of our cloud applications;

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, ensuring effective orchestration and scalability;

• Demonstrate proficiency in the Debian operating system, with the capability to troubleshoot and enhance system performance;

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and ArgoCD for seamless software delivery and infrastructure automation;

• Manage code repositories using GitLab and Git, ensuring effective version control and collaboration among team members;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through Jira and Confluence for efficient project management and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE positions;

• Strong background in AWS cloud services;

• Advanced understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration;

• Solid grasp of DevOps principles and practices;

• Experience in developing and maintaining Helm charts;

• High proficiency in monitoring, logging, alerting, cloud, platform, OS, CI/CD, and repository storage and management tools;

• Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python, or similar);

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
