This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL-driven data solutions that cater to client and product requirements.
• Construct and enhance intricate queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects focusing on performance and scalability.
• Create and sustain ETL pipelines for the integration, transformation, and validation of substantial data sets.
• Guarantee data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks.
• Convert business, delivery, and client needs into technical SQL solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Delivery, Client Services, Engineering, and Product teams to provide value to clients.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams, adhere to deadlines, communicate risks promptly, and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Develop and update documentation for data processes, SQL logic, assumptions, and support procedures.
• Assist in maintaining production systems and resolving data-related challenges.
• Identify and implement enhancements for reliability, repeatability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and delivery planning.
• Adhere to standards for change management, data handling, security, documentation, and production readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production setting.
• Proficient in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and data transformations.
• Experience in developing and managing ETL processes and handling large data sets.
• Strong skills in query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data validation, data quality assessments, and root cause analysis for data defects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD principles, or similar delivery management and source control tools.
• Exposure to C#, APIs, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, or front-end frameworks is advantageous.
• Proven accountability for delivering precise, high-quality work within deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and structured approach to problem-solving, documentation, and issue resolution.
