This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based data solutions that address client and product requirements.
• Create and enhance complex queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database objects to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Develop and uphold ETL pipelines for the integration, transformation, and validation of substantial data sets.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance checks.
• Convert business, delivery, and client prerequisites into technical SQL solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Delivery, Client Services, Engineering, and Product teams to provide value to clients.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams, adhere to deadlines, communicate risks proactively, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Generate and update documentation regarding data processes, SQL logic, assumptions, and support procedures.
• Assist in supporting production systems and addressing data-related challenges.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve reliability, repeatability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and planning for delivery.
• Adhere to standards for change management, data handling, security, documentation, and readiness for production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in a production setting.
• Practical experience in crafting complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and data transformations.
• Experience in building and managing ETL processes and working with large data sets.
• Strong skills in query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with data modeling, validation, quality checks, and root cause analysis of data issues.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD concepts, or similar tools for delivery management and source control.
• Exposure to C#, APIs, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, or front-end frameworks is advantageous.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work within deadlines.
• Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capability to independently manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and structured approach to problem-solving, documentation, and issue resolution.
