This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Design and enhance Stored Procedures within SQL.

• Engage in the migration of SAS processes to Azure Synapse.

• Analyze business rules embedded in SAS programming.

• Ensure data consistency and equivalence between legacy systems and modern environments.

• Conduct data quality assessments, reconciliation, and identify discrepancies.

• Collaborate with both technical and business teams throughout the modernization initiative.

• Aid in performance enhancements and the optimization of deployed solutions.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.

• Proven ability in developing Stored Procedures.

• Familiarity with Views, CTEs, Window Functions, temporary tables, and transactions.

• Understanding of relational data modeling.

• Experience in managing large datasets.

• Proficient in performance tuning and execution plan analysis.

• Experience with ETL processes.

• Background in data validation and data quality assurance.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret business rules and resolve discrepancies between databases.

• Knowledge of SAS (DATA STEP and PROC SQL) for interpreting legacy code is a plus.

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Git and version control systems is beneficial.

• Experience with PySpark and Spark SQL is a plus.

• Background in Data Warehouse migration, ETL, or data platform modernization projects is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI tools to support development, such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT is a plus.
