Mid/Senior Cloud Engineer – AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the cloud infrastructure.

• Participate in architectural decision-making.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud platforms.

• Guide engineers, enhance operational excellence, and advocate for DevOps best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

• Engage with modern cloud-native platforms hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Assist in managing the complete infrastructure lifecycle utilizing Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD automation.

• Prioritize reliability, observability, security, and scalability within the environment.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, technical leadership, and business stakeholders in a global setting.

• Be flexible regarding occasional national and international travel (approximately up to 15%).

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar position.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), covering networking, account management, and essential infrastructure services.

• Professional familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

• Proven track record in constructing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.

• Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch.

• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience in implementing infrastructure automation, security, scalability, and cost-optimization best practices.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities, including root cause analysis and resolution of production incidents.

• Experience in Agile development settings.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Language proficiency: Fluent English (required) for daily collaboration with international teams.
