Sports Marketing – Event Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Lead the strategic activation and daily oversight of prominent corporate sponsorships and partnerships within the sports sector.

• Oversee the complete execution of high-profile events, which includes B2B hospitality initiatives, physical activation setups, and vendor load-ins.

• Collaborate with internal product teams to highlight Trimble infrastructure solutions at sports venues.

• Manage financial distribution, oversee activation budgets, and monitor key performance indicators for brand enhancement and pipeline expansion.

• Coordinate with external partners, internal business leaders, and regional marketing teams to ensure operational coherence and unified brand messaging.

• Recognize, assess, and develop opportunities for audience engagement, promotional initiatives, and brand visibility across the global sports landscape.

• Manage operational changes, intricate logistics, and vendor challenges on-site during live events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in sports marketing, corporate sponsorships, or experiential event management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Sports Management, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset.

• Demonstrated capability to independently manage complex projects from inception to completion.

• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

• Ability to engage with internal leadership and external sports executives.

• Previous B2B marketing or enterprise sales experience is an advantage.

• Functional knowledge of Trimble’s Construction, Geospatial, or Transportation industries is a plus.

• Willingness to travel 25%, including weekends and evenings, depending on the sports/event schedule.
