This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaboratively engage with team members across Income and Engagement to oversee a calendar of events.
• Optimize the potential of existing high-value volunteer board and committee-led events.
• Spearhead the creative design of innovative fundraising and stewardship event opportunities.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with high-value volunteer event boards, committee members, senior staff, and key corporate stakeholders.
• Create and execute individual solicitation and stewardship strategies for event boards and committees.
• Provide line management and developmental support within the team to enhance performance.
• Take responsibility for income targets and expenditures, ensuring that the desired ROI is achieved for the event portfolio.
• Execute current events and propel new initiatives to maximize unrestricted income while generating committed long-term engagement and opportunities from a high-value audience.
• Extensive experience in the Public or Third Sector, particularly in an Events-related role.
• Significant experience in project managing intricate fundraising events that meet or surpass agreed income targets exceeding £100,000 per event.
• Demonstrated record of developing and nurturing excellent relationships with senior-level supporters.
• Experience in collaborating with and managing fundraising committees or boards.
• Proficient in managing external suppliers and comprehending agreements and contracts.
• Exceptional and effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Confident presenter capable of passionately conveying Action for Children's vision with authority.
• Willingness to work flexible and unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Must possess DBS Basic vetting level.
• Unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
