This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Educate internal stakeholders and affiliated partners about the services, specialties, and capabilities available within the organization.
• Advocate for the implementation of clinical pathways and other best practices to ensure appropriate, evidence-based referrals.
• Create and disseminate internal communications and collaborate with marketing to support the development of resources (e.g., referral guides, newsletters, updates).
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with referring providers and care teams across designated regions or service lines.
• Act as a primary liaison to enhance communication, address concerns, and improve the referral experience.
• Evaluate referral patterns and trends to uncover insights, identify risks, and pinpoint opportunities for optimization.
• Oversee network utilization and contribute to performance monitoring across service lines.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to design and execute targeted initiatives.
• Detect and mitigate referral leakage by analyzing underlying causes and proposing scalable solutions.
• Serve as a resource for resolving issues related to referrals, communication, or coordination among providers and departments.
• Comprehensive understanding of referral processes, clinical workflows, and the delivery of healthcare services.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship management abilities.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data and formulating actionable strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, EMRs, and referral management systems is preferred.
• A dedication to ongoing learning and improvement in line with current clinical best practices and standards of care.
• Demonstrated capability to enhance business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve significant, measurable improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Clinical licensure and experience in patient care delivery are strong advantages.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare provider relations, network engagement, or care coordination.
