This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Oversee business operations within a designated geographical area that includes Rhode Island, parts of Massachusetts, and New Hampshire/Dartmouth.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director.
• Engage with pulmonologists, allergists, respiratory therapists, hospital pharmacists, select primary care physicians, and nursing professionals.
• Promote and sell Grifols’ alpha-one augmentation therapy to surpass financial targets for the territory.
• Implement the national sales and marketing strategy.
• Develop tactical business plans for the territory to optimize opportunities.
• Collaborate with home office staff, the Brand team, and National and Corporate account teams to enhance product sales.
• Analyze sales data from accounts and physicians to create solutions that drive business growth.
• Utilize Microsoft applications and Grifols’ customer management system to input call data.
• Manage travel and expense budgets for the territory, progressing towards profit and loss responsibility.
• Adhere to company and industry compliance regulations.
• Travel frequently to various site locations across the United States.
• Comprehensive understanding of the medical industry, including specialty pharmacy, home health, managed care, biologics/biotech, pharmaceuticals, and/or hospital sectors.
• Preferred experience in respiratory and primary care.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a degree in Life Sciences or a related field is advantageous.
• Advanced degrees are welcome; an MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare, or medical sales, marketing, and/or sales management.
• Proven track record as a high performer.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities among peers and colleagues.
• Exceptional selling skills and thorough product knowledge.
• Strong business and territory management capabilities.
• Proficient in territory administration.
• Knowledge of corporate compliance standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Skilled in communicating complex information clearly and comprehending spoken communications.
• Aptitude for resolving complex conceptual challenges using abstract principles.
• Capability to perform intricate tasks under varying and changing conditions.
• Competence in planning work assignments to achieve objectives.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
