This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive the acquisition and closure of new business within Bionews' Insights portfolio, focusing primarily on selling Brio to pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
• Take ownership of the go-to-market strategy for Brio as a new subscription offering.
• Identify and prioritize target pharmaceutical and biotech accounts in preparation for the fall 2026 launch.
• Conduct discovery calls, deliver platform demonstrations, and develop proposals.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to contract signing and onboarding transitions.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on pricing strategies, packaging, positioning, and launch enhancements.
• Sell tailored market research, patient advisory panels, surveys, and syndicated data.
• Establish and maintain a qualified sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
• Explore bundling opportunities with broader Bionews pharmaceutical partnerships.
• Keep accurate records of opportunities, activities, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts to Commercial Leadership.
• Manage client relationships from the initial conversation through to renewal.
• Integrate the patient perspective into client presentations and discussions.
• Monitor competitive intelligence and represent Bionews Insights and Brio at industry events.
• Present pipeline reviews, business reviews, revenue targets, and participate in annual territory and pricing planning.
• A minimum of 8 years of quota-carrying sales experience in pharmaceutical market research, insights, life sciences data, or SaaS platform sales.
• Proven experience selling to medical affairs, market research/insights, or brand teams.
• A history of operating at a senior, executive-facing level.
• Demonstrated knowledge of how pharmaceutical and biotech companies assess and procure market research and patient insights solutions.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong discipline in pipeline management and forecasting.
• Comfort and creativity in selling a new subscription-based platform in a market with established vendors.
• Ability to influence product positioning as it develops.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in conducting engaging platform demonstrations and facilitating executive-level discussions.
• A genuine interest in and alignment with the rare disease community and the patient-centered mission of Bionews is preferred.
