This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Take ownership of the territory strategy: managing segmentation, call cadence, routing, and coverage across independent OD/MD practices, multi-location groups, and relevant accounts.
• Achieve results: meet or surpass sales targets; manage the sales funnel, forecasts, and activity metrics through disciplined CRM utilization.
• Educate and influence: lead compliant in-office data reviews, training sessions, and lunch-and-learns aimed at Eyecare professionals, focusing on patient selection, anticipated outcomes, safety, duration of effects, and practice workflow.
• Integrate evidence-driven practices: convert clinical evidence into straightforward practice behaviors (screening prompts, exam-lane cues, intake questions); provide staff with tools that turn interest into consistent application; gather field insights to enhance messaging and resources.
• Support practice integration: confidently promote and encourage the adoption of an out-of-pocket therapy; establish clear expectations regarding value, usage, and follow-up; effectively use starter resources and patient materials in a compliant manner.
• Transform field insights into action: document customer feedback and insights; share with relevant internal partners as necessary.
• Ensure launch excellence: implement brand strategy and digital tools flawlessly; support regional and national meetings as well as Plans of Action (POAs); disseminate replicable best practices.
• Adhere to the highest standards: comply with all regulatory requirements, including adverse event reporting and healthcare professional interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven success in sales is essential.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or closely related sales is advantageous.
• Preference for candidates with experience in eye-care or contact lens sales.
• Pharma launch experience is preferred.
• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
• Comfort in selling cash-pay/elective therapies and discussing affordability with practices and patients is necessary.
• Must currently possess and maintain an unexpired driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
