This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Implement AbbVie brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts to enhance both short- and long-term sales results.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and respond to customer needs effectively.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments to boost sales results.
• Address objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Formulate and carry out call plans that maximize customer engagement and sales prospects.
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales methodologies.
• Relay market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare professionals.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and pertinent laws and regulations.
• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience is required in lieu of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five (5) years of experience, including at least three (3) years preferred in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector.
• A high school diploma/GED is necessary when qualifying through the experience alternative.
• Extensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Proven history of success in sales and robust presentation skills.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Experience in leadership and support roles at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficient in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements and be in good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Ability to drive a personal or company vehicle or powered material-handling equipment.
