This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Implement brand strategies and initiatives in the field.
• Oversee sales performance and manage the designated territory.
• Foster robust customer relationships and address their needs effectively.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives.
• Address objections and concerns with efficacy.
• Formulate and execute call plans to meet defined metrics.
• Gain insights into customer requirements, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition and cultivate expertise in disease states.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• If lacking a bachelor’s degree, at least five (5) years of relevant industry experience is necessary, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Demonstrated success in leadership roles and strong presentation skills are essential.
• Possess strong business acumen and proficiency in business tools; capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to proactively identify customer behavior and adapt the selling approach accordingly.
• Function effectively within a matrix organizational structure.
• Preferred: A proven history of success in sales performance within specific therapeutic areas.
• Preferred: Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred: In-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.
• Preferred: Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
