This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the assigned territory and targeted accounts.
• Establish pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns during sales interactions.
• Foster trusted relationships with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Develop and execute call strategies to enhance customer coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory market dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales expertise.
• Communicate market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry experience is required in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated history of leadership success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Solid business acumen.
• Proficient in the use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and adapt the selling approach accordingly.
• Effectively operate within a matrix environment.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Proficiency in the English language is preferred for non-English-speaking countries.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
• Capability to drive a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
