This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Efficiently manage the assigned territory and key accounts.

• Establish robust customer relationships and resolve customer needs to enhance both short-term and long-term sales performance, prioritizing the patient in all efforts.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and all relevant laws and regulations.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed established goals.

• Develop pre-call plan objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continually enhance sales performance.

• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently leading to logical and reasonable calls to action to conclude each sales call effectively.

• Actively seek to address customer needs, expectations, and challenges to foster trusted relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and customers.

• Create and execute a call plan that meets defined call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency for key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.

• Continuously enhance understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical, and sales expertise, sharing this market intelligence with the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment, anticipate environmental changes and challenges, and optimize brand strategy and execution.

• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers, identifying, developing, and maintaining disease state experts and advocates to enhance brand performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, relevant industry experience must include at least five (5) years, with three (3) or more years within the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.

• Possesses in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge, recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders.

• Strong business acumen with proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking skills.

• Proactively discerns customer style/behavior and swiftly adapts selling approaches accordingly.

• Understands and utilizes findings to craft effective sales strategies.

• Demonstrated success in sales and strong presentation skills.

• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.

• Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and address challenges.

• Makes a significant impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipates and responds to changes effectively.

• Influences others and is regarded as a credible and respected role model and resource among peers.

• Fosters collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams, among others.

• Leads by example, consistently exhibiting positive behaviors and peer coaching through changing and challenging situations.

• Documented success in leadership and support roles with increased responsibilities at district, region, and/or organizational levels.

• Preferred: Proven track record of successful sales performance within relevant therapeutic areas.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing is preferred.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing (for all non-English speaking countries).
