This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategy and tactical initiatives in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Develop pre-call strategies and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
• Fulfill customer needs while fostering trusted relationships.
• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales potential.
• Acquire knowledge about customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales techniques.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to the assigned healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Enhance patient-focused sales performance in the migraine/neuroscience therapy sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical, health, or science industry is preferred.
• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Extensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscapes.
• Strong business acumen with proficient utilization of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to tailor selling techniques to match customer styles and behaviors.
• Demonstrated sales success and effective presentation skills.
• Ability to function efficiently in a matrix organizational structure.
• Capacity to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Ability to influence peers and act as a credible resource.
• Strong collaborative skills with district colleagues and matrix teams.
• Documented history of leadership and support accomplishments at district, regional, or organizational levels.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required for non-English-speaking regions.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing, or be eligible to obtain them.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must adhere to safe driving standards.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Must comply with relevant background check, drug screen, immunization/vaccination, and fingerprinting requirements where applicable.
