This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Implement brand strategies and initiatives in the market.
• Oversee the designated territory and specific accounts.
• Foster customer relationships and address their needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales outcomes.
• Achieve sales results, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing aims.
• Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and create calls to action to successfully conclude sales interactions.
• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Formulate and execute call strategies to optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Acquire knowledge about customer needs, the territory landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise.
• Communicate market insights with field, brand, and sales teams.
• Highlight AbbVie's unique value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business-related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Excellent presentation abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive factors.
• Strong business insight.
• Skillful in using business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Proficient in recognizing customer styles/behaviors and adjusting the sales approach accordingly.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrixed environment.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written, for non-English-speaking countries.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving requirements.
• Capability to travel sufficiently to cover the territory and attend overnight training sessions and sales meetings.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle, company vehicle, truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Must meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials, which may include background checks, drug tests, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses.
