This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field, ensuring effective sales performance while managing the designated territory and target accounts.
• Cultivate robust customer relationships to enhance both short-term and long-term sales outcomes.
• Achieve sales performance goals, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed established benchmarks.
• Develop a pre-call plan utilizing SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continually enhance sales effectiveness.
• Skillfully address objections, misunderstandings, and concerns, consistently leading to reasonable calls to action to successfully close every sales call.
• Proactively strive to meet customer needs, expectations, and challenges, fostering trusted customer relationships and achieving mutually beneficial agreements between AbbVie and its clients.
• Formulate and implement a call plan aimed at fulfilling call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
• Disseminate market intelligence to the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to ensure alignment, anticipate environmental changes and challenges, and enhance brand strategy execution.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• Equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience, with at least three (3) years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Proactively recognizes customer styles and behaviors, swiftly adjusting all selling approaches accordingly.
• Functions effectively within a matrix environment.
• A demonstrated history of success in sales, accompanied by strong presentation skills.
• Proposes innovative ideas and solutions to leverage business opportunities and address challenges.
• Exhibits comprehensive knowledge in scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive domains, earning recognition as an expert resource among relevant stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Contributes impactful ideas for the broader organization and anticipates and adapts to changes.
• Influences peers and is regarded as a credible and respected role model and resource.
• Fosters collaborative partnerships with district colleagues and matrix teams.
