This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts.
• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while securing calls to action during sales discussions.
• Meet customer needs and expectations to establish trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans that maximize customer coverage and interaction frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales strategies.
• Communicate market intelligence with field, brand, and sales teams.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, field teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• If utilizing experience in place of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED required.
• A proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or qualified to obtain required credentials.
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Ability to think strategically and critically.
• Capability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must comply with safe driving requirements.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle, company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
