
Specialty Pharmacy Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for designated Specialty Pharmacies.
• Establish and nurture robust, collaborative partnerships with SP associates to enhance patient experience and program effectiveness.
• Evaluate and scrutinize SP performance metrics, including: Time to therapy, turnaround for benefits investigations, prior authorization approval rates, and prescription conversion rates.
• Ensure SP compliance with program specifications, including turnaround times, documentation standards, and patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress within the Specialty Pharmacy Network to guarantee reconciliation.
• Address escalated patient access, benefits, and fulfillment challenges in partnership with SP associates.
• Collaborate with FRMs to tackle provider and patient access obstacles; act as an escalation point for case-related issues.
• Provide FRMs with insights regarding SP processes, payer dynamics, and access trends.
• Work with FRMs to identify trends in access difficulties and develop coordinated solutions across regions.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure alignment between HUB systems and SP reporting.
• Work alongside HUB teams (case management, BI, PA, patient support) to facilitate efficient case progression.
• Relay program updates, SP modifications, and process improvements to HUB teams.
• Assist in the training and ongoing education of HUB teams concerning SP-specific requirements and workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, HUB services, patient support, or reimbursement.
• In-depth knowledge of HUB operations, SP workflows, payer landscape, and access processes.
• Experience collaborating with FRMs or in provider-facing roles.
• Direct experience with major SPs (e.g., Accredo, CVS Specialty, Optum, Walgreens) is preferred.
• Experience in therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology, rare disease, immunology, dermatology) is preferred.
• Competence in relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Expertise in patient access and reimbursement.
• Skills in process improvement and operational execution.
• Excellent communication and escalation management skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
