Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assists Pharmacists in the preparation of Specialty Rx medications by dispensing these medications.

• Engages in a variety of tasks including moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support activities.

• Conducts calculations as needed.

• May reach out to physicians for clarification on prescriptions.

• May input prescription orders into the system.

• Ensures compliance with Specialty Rx-specific operational processes and programs.

• Operates within established parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Board of Pharmacy in your state of residence.

• Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in inbound and/or outbound phone roles is required.

• Capable of managing multiple or competing priorities, including using various computer applications simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in data entry tasks.
