Specialty Equipment Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Manually clear vegetation from work sites

• Operate a variety of forestry equipment safely, including Jarraff, brush hog mowers, Brontosaurus mower, woodchipper, hydraulic machinery, and chainsaws

• Conduct line clearance, pruning, and tree removals

• Acquire knowledge of all facets of the tree-care industry

• Engage in full-time, year-round outdoor physical labor

• Communicate mainly through email during the application process

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant work experience; a minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred for Jarraff operation

• Must possess experience operating a Jarraff

• CDL is preferred

• Availability to work 45 hours each week

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required

• Current and valid driver’s license with dependable transportation

• Capability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

• Physical strength to walk on uneven terrain and lift 75 lbs.

• Willingness to work at various heights up to 75 feet

• Eagerness to learn how to operate a bucket truck and handle equipment safely

• Willingness to obtain and maintain a CDL A or B license

• Commitment to acquire and uphold necessary licenses and certifications for the role

• Successful completion of a post-offer physical examination and drug screening

• Successful completion of a background and motor vehicle check
